Amelia Park Children’s Museum invites you to Mid-Afternoon Masquerade: An Art Party for Children, hosted at the museum on Saturday, August 24 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Children and their families and caretakers are welcomed for an afternoon of art, adventures, and memory-making amusements!

Put on your favorite outfit and dance away the afternoon to a kid-friendly soundtrack. Embrace your artistic side with mask-making, temporary tattoos, and friendship bracelets. You can even color a mirror ball or make a contact paper collage. Don’t forget to take a photo in front of a colorful, quirky backdrop or even snap a selfie with a stilt-walker.

Join us for pizza, cupcakes, and juice boxes to celebrate the end of summer at this fun-filled event. Your favorite museum exhibits will be open during the event, with some noise-making elements disabled until 5:30 PM.

This event is open to visitors of all ages, but activities are specifically tailored to children ages three through nine.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended for this event. Tickets are $10 per child and $5 per adult. EBT cardholders and their families are admitted for $2 per person. This event is free for APCM members. No additional discounts apply.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Westfield Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
