A donation of appreciated shares of stock can offer the donor substantial tax savings. Donors may receive an income tax donation equal to the current full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift, without realizing (and paying tax) on the fain in value since the stock was acquired.
To donate stock, please contact us to let us know that your broker will be transferring stock, the kind of stock, and how many shares, and how you would like the stock to be used (annual funds, exhibit support, etc.).
